Due to the ongoing war, many internally displaced individuals are either passing through or residing in the River Nile state, specifically in the Atbara locality. The Atbara Dialysis Center, facing increased demand from kidney patients, found itself unable to meet these additional needs.
In collaboration with Sadgaat Organization, Sadagat-Canada has sponsored a project to acquire and install two new dialysis machines and air conditioning units at the Atbara Dialysis Center. As a result of this initiative, the dialysis center can now provide quality care to 500 kidney patients.
