At Sadagaat-Canada, our mission is driven by a commitment to transparency, accountability, and—most importantly—the people we serve. To ensure our programs continue to deliver maximum impact where they are needed most, Elamin Sobair, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sadagaat-Canada, recently arrived in Sudan for an international field visit.

This critical visit comes at a time when the humanitarian situation in Sudan requires urgent, coordinated action. By being on the ground, our leadership is working directly with local teams and partners to evaluate ongoing projects, identify pressing needs, and ensure your generous support is being translated into life-changing relief.

Seeing Your Impact in Action: The Resilience and Recovery Project

The visit began with an essential meeting with Mr. Khalid Abdelrahim Ahmed, the Commissioner of Humanitarian Aid in Khartoum State, ensuring our Canadian relief efforts are aligned to directly address the most urgent needs on the ground.

Here is a look at the key projects our Canadian delegation visited and evaluated:

1. Sustainable Agriculture & Resilience

We observed the incredible progress of our Resilience and Recovery Project in the East Nile locality. The delegation toured the Al-Bageir Agricultural Project and home gardening models in the Al-Ghaba Abu Zeid area. These initiatives are empowering local families to grow their own food, securing long-term food stability amid the ongoing crisis.

2. Emergency Relief & School Meals for Kids

Addressing immediate hunger is a cornerstone of our mission. The delegation reviewed our ongoing relief food distributions for families displaced and affected by the conflict. We also focused heavily on our school feeding programs, ensuring that vulnerable children receive the vital nutrition they need to stay healthy and continue their education.

3. Building Clean Water Stations

Clean water changes everything. We inspected the construction progress of our water station building projects. These stations are designed to provide safe, reliable, and sustainable drinking water to entire communities, preventing waterborne diseases and laying the foundation for healthier futures.
