SUDAN HUMANITARIAN CRISIS

SUDAN IN CRISIS:
A NATION IN TROUBLE

The people of Sudan are enduring a humanitarian disaster of staggering proportions. Since April 2023, escalating violence and unrest have uprooted more than 14 million lives, with one in five individuals forced to flee. Basic necessities such as food, clean water, and healthcare are in dangerously short supply, leaving half the population—including 14 million children—facing severe hunger and malnutrition.

The situation grows worse by the day. Al-Jazirah State has become a focal point of conflict, where recent attacks have caused the loss of nearly 200 lives and forced over 47,000 people from their homes. Villages are being ravaged, and families are left to navigate fear and uncertainty in the face of ongoing devastation.

The collapse of 70% of hospitals, halted education, and widespread hunger paints a dire picture for Sudan’s future. With these essential systems broken, the nation’s survival is at risk.

Sadagaat Canada is working tirelessly on the ground, delivering critical support such as clean water, food, medical aid, and safe shelter. Your help is vital to ensure we can continue to respond and reach the most vulnerable during this crisis.

Every contribution makes a difference. Join us in standing with Sudan.
